Hon. Ifunanya Nwanegwo, the Executive Chairman of Mbaitoli Local Government Area, has made history by presenting the 2025 Appropriation Bill to the 7th Assembly of Mbaitoli LGA. This milestone event marks the consolidation of the 3R Agenda, focused on the BOOST SHARED PROSPERITY initiative, which aims to foster grassroots development, service delivery, and human capital empowerment.
The BOOST SHARED PROSPERITY initiative is structured under four key sectors:
- *Economic Sector*: Investments in agriculture, job creation, and infrastructure.
- *Social Service Sector*: Health, education, and welfare programs.
- *Area Development Sector*: Rural electrification, road projects, and environmental sustainability.
- *Administrative Sector*: Governance reforms and improved service delivery.
Under Hon. Ifunanya Nwanegwo's leadership, Mbaitoli has witnessed significant transformations across various sectors, including road infrastructure, healthcare, legislative development, ICT advancement, sanitation and hygiene, energy and electrification, and water infrastructure ¹.
The 2025 Appropriation Bill outlines a financial plan that will drive Mbaitoli's economic and social development, with an estimated recurrent revenue of ₦4,515,101,172, estimated recurrent expenditure of ₦1,388,777,774, and estimated capital expenditure of ₦2,936,580,760.
Hon. Ifunanya Nwanegwo has reaffirmed his commitment to expanding developmental projects across key areas, ensuring sustainable development, economic prosperity, and improved quality of life for all residents of Mbaitoli.
