Nigerian Horn Publisher Mourns Wife, Announces Burial for April 11*

It is with a heavy heart that the Publisher of the Daily Nigerian Horn Newspaper, High Chief Bright Chimezie Njoku, announces the passing of his beloved wife, Lolo Chioma Ogechi Njoku, Publisher of The Onion Newspaper. She departed this life at the tender age of 49, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and dedication to her family and profession.

In a statement released on behalf of his family, High Chief Njoku paid tribute to his late wife, describing her as his pillar of support, a hard-working and exemplary wife and mother. He remembered her as a woman of great strength and character, who was always there to offer a helping hand and a comforting word. Her passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and colleagues.

Lolo Chioma Ogechi Njoku was a woman of many talents and accomplishments. As the Publisher of The Onion Newspaper, she was a respected figure in the journalism profession, known for her incisive reporting and her commitment to telling the stories that needed to be told. She was also a devoted mother to their six children - four daughters and two sons - and a loving partner to her husband. Her family was her greatest joy, and she spent countless hours nurturing and caring for them.

The burial ceremony of Lolo Chioma Ogechi Njoku will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025, at Umuireagwu, Ofodim – Umuneke, Ugiri Autonomous Community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
