*JOURNALIST CHIKA UJU LAUNCHES CHARITY FOUNDATION, SET TO EMPOWER THE NEEDY*

Owerri, Imo State - In a bold move to give back to the society, renowned journalist and philanthropist, Hon. Ambassador Chika Uju, is set to launch her brainchild, "Uju Charity and Empowerment Initiative" (UCEI), a registered non-governmental organization aimed at providing succor to the needy.
*A Visionary's Dream Takes Shape*
UCEI, born out of Chika Uju's passion for humanitarian work, seeks to offer scholarships, support, and empowerment to those struggling to make ends meet. The foundation's launch, scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Rockview Hotel, Owerri, promises to be a gathering of esteemed dignitaries and well-wishers.

The event, chaired by Hon. Barr. Ikenna Ihezuo, will feature Rt. Rev. Geoffrey Okorafor, Bishop of Egbu Diocese, as the Guest Speaker. Other notable attendees include:

Chika Uju, an activist, community leader, and member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), revealed that her decision to establish UCEI stemmed from her desire to make a more significant impact on the lives of the needy. Having silently supported individuals in the past, she now seeks partnerships to expand her reach.
"I vowed before God to help the needy, and since God has not failed me, there's no going back in this venture," she stated.
