OBAZU WOMEN BESTOWED "AKURUOULO OME UDO AWARD ON HAMILTON CHINASA OPARA

The Mbaitolu Council Boss, honorable Hamilton Chinasa Opara JP has been honored with a peace award " AKURUOULO OME UDO" by Obasu women association. 
This Award was given to him in a special August event to mark the restoration of unity and peace in Obazu autonomous community. The women led by their president , Pharmacist Dame Priscilla Nosiri FPSN honored Hamilton Opara with Akuruo ulo Ome Udo for his distinguished character, works and commitment to the women and development of Obazu community in general.
Honorable Chinasa  was described as a noble and incorruptible leader who has restored peace in Obazu against all distraction. While speaking, the President of Obazu women, Pharmacist Dame Priscilla Nosiri described this year's women conference theme ," '(WOMEN'S UNITY: PANACEA FOR PEACE AND PROGRESS IN THE COMMUNITY )as apt and called on all the men and women of Obazu community to come together to foster peace that will bring progress in the community. She described peace as quotes in the bible as ' OIL POURED ON THE HEAD..FOR THERE THE LORD BESTOWS HIS BLESSINGS EVEN FOREVERMORE. 
Pharm. Priscilla Nosiri is expressed optimism that the community can still achieve greater developments despite the set back for over five years now due to harassment and intimidation that almost destroyed the association and called on the men to assist them the women to build a skills acquisition centre which will empower women and youth in the community.
The council Boss ably represented by his Chief of staff, Honorable Sylvester Azoserem while receiveing the award on behalf of his Boss, appreciated the women for the award.  He praised Honorable Hamilton Opara for being instrumental for restoration of peace in the community and called on other women that is still sitting on the fence to unite for sustaining peace and prosperity in Obazu Mbieri.
The event was attended by the high and mighty in Obazu community including Prof. Chinedu Asino-Anosike(CONA), Hon. Chief V.O. Iroegbu, Chief Ben Oparaeche, Deacon Chuma Okwodu, Barr. Mike Azoroh, interim PG of Obazu Town Union, Udu Nnamdi Iroegbu, and others. Meritorious awards were bestowed to some illustrious  Sons and daughters of Obazu community and Mbieri as a whole. Other awardee are Honorable Emeka Nwadi who was honored with OCHUDO OBAZU award, Interim PG Barr. Mike Azoroh who  was awarded with NNANYEREUGO award and also the traditional prime minister Chief Ben Oparaeche was honored with ONUNEKWURUOHA award.
