The Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun, has described the incident as "disturbing" and contrary to the values expected within the state's educational system.
The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, through the Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA), has commenced a full investigation to verify the authenticity of the video, confirm the identities of those involved, and assess the level of institutional oversight. A monitoring and investigation team has been dispatched, while preliminary engagements with the school's management have also begun.
