NEW DAWN FOR IMO: ADC INAUGURATES STATE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, PLEDGES TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has inaugurated its Imo State Executive Committee (SEC), marking a new era of positivity, transformative leadership, and hope for the people of Imo State. The event, held at the party's State Headquarters in New Owerri, was attended by party faithful who came out in large numbers to affirm the ADC's rising force in the state's political landscape.
Prof. James Okoroma, the newly sworn-in party chairman, pledged his loyalty to reposition the party as a fortress of integrity and inclusiveness. He emphasized that the ADC would be committed to grassroots politics, which would give rise to credible leadership, assuring the people of Imo that their voices will no longer be silenced. "We stand today as a beacon of political reawakening. The ADC will not compromise on justice, fairness, and people-driven governance," he declared.
The newly inaugurated State Executive Committee is composed of persons with proven pedigree and leaders from diverse backgrounds, including Chief Damian Ezeagu (Deputy Chairman), Barr. Greg Ihejirika (State Secretary), Barr. Kissinger Ikeokwu (Legal Adviser), Chief MacDonald Amadi (Publicity Secretary), Mrs. Uju Ihejiagwa (Woman Leader), Emedo Chika (Youth Leader), and Solomon Chibuike Egwuatu (Chairman, Persons with Disabilities), among others.
Sir Bon Unachukwu, National Vice Chairman (South East), guided the proceedings and advised the newly inaugurated members to discharge their duties accordingly. He reaffirmed the ADC's mission of strengthening democracy and offering Nigeria credible leadership, starting from Imo State. Dr. Vin Udokwu, Director General of the Rebuild Imo Movement, was also in attendance, thanking all for believing in the party.
The ADC has declared that the era of indifference is over, ushering in a bold chapter in the state's political history. With renewed vigor, the party is committed to rescuing Imo State and salvaging its future. "The journey to rescue Imo is what we have just begun. We are not going to relent in rescuing the State and salvaging our land as well as the future of our children," Prof. Okoroma emphasized.
The party stakeholders affirmed that with the inauguration, the journey to reposition the state is on the way, and the ADC is the only credible alternative in Imo politics. The ADC's commitment to grassroots politics, justice, fairness, and people-driven governance is a beacon of hope for the people of Imo State.
