*Peter Obi's Gift of Hope: A Coaster Bus for Grimard College of Nursing Sciences*

In a heartwarming display of commitment to promoting excellence in learning, Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, has donated a refurbished 32-seater Coaster Bus to Grimard College of Nursing Sciences in Anyigba, Kogi State. The bus, valued at over N30 million, is a testament to Obi's dedication to empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Obi's generosity didn't stop there. He also donated ₦5 million to cover the cost of registration, insurance, and other expenses for one year, ensuring that the students at Grimard College can focus on their studies without financial burdens. This latest donation follows his earlier contribution of ₦10 million to support learning at the institution.
As Obi himself shared, the bus was a specific request from the college to facilitate students' clinical experience visits. He worked closely with Bishop Most Rev. Dr. Anthony Adaji to identify a fairly used bus within the desired price range of ₦20-30 million, as a brand-new bus would have exceeded ₦100 million .
This act of kindness is characteristic of Obi's leadership style, which prioritizes education and healthcare. During his tenure as governor of Anambra State, he implemented numerous initiatives to improve education, including returning schools to their original missionary owners and procuring over 30,000 computers for secondary schools .
