"Omeogo Vows to Boost Development in Orlu, Orsu, Oru East, Receives Excellence Award"*

Hon. Chief Canice Moore O. Nwachukwu, popularly known as Omeogo, has pledged to enhance the living standards and economic prosperity of Orlu, Orsu, and Oru East Federal Constituency. While receiving the "Legislator Per Excellence" award from the Coalition of Orlu Zone Media Practitioners at Gravity Hotel Owerri, Omeogo emphasized his commitment to human-driven projects in the region.
As a member of the ECOWAS Parliament and representative of Orlu, Orsu, and Oru East in the House of Representatives, Omeogo has already initiated various projects, including boreholes and school structures ¹. He aims to strengthen social development, economic prosperity, and encourage productive activities to alleviate economic hardship, poverty, and vulnerability.
Omeogo expressed gratitude for the award, describing it as "an uncommon honor" from the Orlu Zone people. He acknowledged the support of Governor Hope Uzodimma and pledged to continue working with the media to promote the governor's policies and programs.
The award presentation was attended by notable figures, including SA to the Governor on Transportation, Chief Peter Okorie, and APC chieftain, Chief Greg Nwosu. President of Orlu Zone Media Practitioners, Reginald Oloko, praised Omeogo's sterling performance in the National Assembly and committed to partnering with him to project his activities in the media.
Omeogo's dedication to his constituency is evident in his efforts to address ecological challenges in Imo State. As a committee member of the Ecological Fund, he worked with Governor Uzodimma to assess erosion-prone areas and implement remedies ¹. With his recommitment to serving his people, Omeogo is poised to drive positive change in Orlu, Orsu, and Oru East.
