*"Nigerian Police Officer Turns Author: CSP Iredibia Launches Three Books to Change Negative Perception"*

   By Ella Michaels

CSP Nathaniel Princewill Kingsley Iredibia, a senior Nigerian police officer, has taken a unique approach to addressing the negative image of the police force by launching three books. The titles of the books are "Robust Police Image Promotion by Police", "The Hunter shall no longer be hunted", and "Proper policing by Police and Public"

Recently launched at Rockview Hotel Owerri, these books are a product of CSP Iredibia's years of experience in the police force. Two of the books focus directly on the police, while the third explores the relationship between the police and the public.

CSP Iredibia expressed his dissatisfaction with the police force's bad image, citing it as a significant contributor to ineffective policing. He believes that only by rebranding the police image can public trust be restored and policing become effective again.

"I don't like the bad image I'm working in," CSP Iredibia said. "Though it's not limited to Nigeria, I feel bad when the police image is tarnished, and I tried to find a solution." He presented strategies for improvement, emphasizing the importance of trust in policing.

Prince Marcelinus Nlemigbo, chairman of the occasion, praised CSP Iredibia's effort, describing him as "a cop with a difference." Nlemigbo encouraged others to follow in CSP Iredibia's footsteps and recommended the books to the public and police for a more impactful society.

Dr. Kingsley Chukwuemeka Izuogu, a Mass Communication lecturer at Abia State University, reviewed the books and described them as impactful, capable of changing negative perceptions about the police. He urged everyone to read the books.

The launch of these books comes at a time when the image of the police is under scrutiny globally. Research has shown that media coverage significantly influences public perception of police use of force .

By sharing his experiences and insights, CSP Iredibia hopes to spark positive change and promote a more effective and trustworthy policing system.

The books have been praised for their potential to change negative perceptions about the police, and CSP Iredibia's initiative is seen as a step towards bridging the gap between law enforcement and the community.

As the Nigerian police force continues to evolve, CSP Iredibia's contributions to the conversation on policing and public perception are timely and valuable.

The success of these books may encourage other police officers to share their stories and insights, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability within the force.

Ultimately, CSP Iredibia's work aims to humanize the police and foster greater understanding and cooperation between law enforcement and the public.
