From Press To Pledge.. Journalist Reginald Oloko Ties The Knot With Violet

  By Ella Michaels

Last Saturday, Holy Family Catholic Parish Irete witnessed a joyous celebration as nine couples, including Owerri-based journalist Reginald Oloko and his sweetheart Violet Nwokocha, exchanged vows.

The highly anticipated wedding mass commenced at 11:45 am, drawing a large attendance of parishioners, relatives, and friends. The atmosphere was electric with love and excitement.

In his inspiring sermon, Reverend Father Kyrian Agugbuo referenced Matthew 19:3, commending the couples for embracing the sacrament of Matrimony. He emphasized the importance of unity and discouraged separation.

Rev. Agugbuo beautifully described the female spouses as helpmates created from their male partners' ribs. He encouraged mutual love, urging wives to be submissive and obedient to their husbands.

The Parish Priest congratulated the newlyweds in advance, assuring them of God's blessings. He also emphasized the importance of raising children in the way of God.

Reginald Oloko, a delighted groom, expressed gratitude to the Parish Priest and Holy Family Catholic Parish Irete for organizing the mass wedding. He encouraged the parish to continue this noble initiative.

The wedding highlight was the cake-cutting ceremony, generously sponsored by the Catholic Women Organisation (CWO).

This mass wedding demonstrates the parish's commitment to strengthening family bonds and promoting love within the community.

As the newlywed couples begin their journey together, they carry with them the blessings and well-wishes of their loved ones.

The union of Reginald and Violet Oloko, along with the eight other couples, serves as a testament to the power of love and commitment.
