Operation Safe Haven: Imo State Police and Military Unite to Combat Kidnapping and Violent Crimes"_

  By Ella Michaels

In a bold move to restore peace and security in Imo State, the Imo State Police Command has joined forces with the military to launch a specialized operation aimed at dismantling kidnapping, armed robbery, and other violent criminal syndicates.

The operation, dubbed "Operation Safe Haven," focuses on the Obinze, Ihiagwa, Avu, and Federal University of Technology (FUTO) axis in Owerri, where recent reports of increased kidnapping incidents have raised concerns among residents and students.

With the combined expertise and resources of both agencies, the operation seeks to bring those responsible for these criminal acts to justice and ensure the safety and security of communities.

Commissioner of Police CP Aboki Danjuma urges the public to cooperate fully and report any suspicious persons or activities to the nearest police station or via 0803 477 3600.

By working together, the Imo State Police Command and the military are committed to upholding law and order and providing a safe environment for learning and living.

Stay tuned for updates on the progress of Operation Safe Haven.
