SP EMEKA ACHONU BURIES MOM...

The Obinetiti community in Isiala Mbano was agog with activities  of Late Lolo Nneoma Marjorie Ubaku Fredrick ( Nee Ibezim), the Mother of SP Emeka Achonu, a  Senior Police officer with the State Intelligence Department, Imo State command was laid to rest on Friday 22nd march 2024.
Mama Achonu who died at the age of 85 was given a befitting burial in her husband's compound Obinetiti, in Isiala Mbano LGA, Imo state. 
In the testimonies of her life sighed by the family,  Mama Ubaku was a great teacher who taught many people in many schools at  Mbaitoli and Ikeduru  Imo state before her retirement. 
In the funeral service at the Cathedral Church of Christ, Ezihe, the Bishop of Isiala Mbano Diocese, His Lordship Rt. Reverend Dr. Ukanwa described late Nneoma Achonu as a role model that lived a life worthy of emulation.

Shortly after interment, SP Emeka Achonu, while fielding questions from the journalists shared sweet memories of her Mom when she was alive. He said that their Mom was a very strong woman even as she aged . She still do house chores like preparing food for the whole house during festive periods and stuffs like that,As a teacher, she was a very neat woman . He lamented that the vacuum she left behind, they will try as much as possible to fill.
Also speaking with the press, the wife of SP Emeka Achonu, Dr. Mrs. Jacintha C. Achonu who is the PRO of federal Medical Centre Owerri, Imo state also described her mother in-law, Nneoma Achonu as a peace loving woman that never gave anyone trouble. "She was so peaceful to a fault that she always apologizes even when she was right "  Dr. Mrs Achonu said. She stated that it was due to her good nature towards everyone that her burial witnessed overwhelming crowd  to bid her farewell and prayed that God should grant the entire family  all the grace to emulate the lives and behaviors of late Nneoma Marjorie. 

The Burial of Nneoma Marjorie Achonu attracted dignitaries from all walks of life which includes senior and junior personnel of The Nigeria Police Force, Political Leaders, Captains of Industries and Government Officials.
