The Chief Security Officer of Oil region, Inspector Chika okebata chikadibia has been honoured with a Meritorious Award for his contribution towards humanity and church of Christ , especially his efforts in curbing criminality in Imo state .
The Award ceremony which was organized by the Parish Priest, Rev father Boniface Iwu was held in Ochicha Parish , was aimed to honour the efforts of individuals who has contributed immensely to the growth of the church and society.
Presenting the award to Inspector Chika okebata chikadibia , the Priest described okebata as a competent officer and renowned philanthropist who has contributed alot to the church and ikedure local Government Area at large .
Rev father Boniface Iwu also commended him for his tireless efforts in the fight against crime in the state .
In his comments, Inspector Chika okebata chikadibia appreciated the organiser for the honour and added that although being honoured for one's work is good , he said his service are for the good of humanity and to the glory of God .
The police commander also stated that Ochicha Community has been favourable to him since he married their daughter in 2007 . He points some of his achievements since he joined Nigerian police force both in restoring peace and calmness in some warring Communities in Imo State such as Ohaji/Egbema, Oguta and others .
He asserted that he is determined to do the right things always because that is what the Nigerian Police force stands for.
