The local Government Development Area of Imo State on 9th September, 2023 Celebrated her first Year in office anniversary since it was resuscitated back after 10 years of moribund.
Hon Willie T. C Okelieogwo while making an open remarks described the four tier Government as the baby of the local Government Area, therefore he admonished them to remain working in synergy with the local Government council boss in their various local Government Area.
He also reminded the Coordinators to continue to promote the government policies in the grassroots, by ensuring that peace and sustainable development are implemented.
Hon ifenayi Oruh while felicitating them , states that the Governor's aim of resuscitating development centres is to drives development to the grassroots.
He charges the development centres Coordinators to go their various Constituencies to galvanise grassroots supports for the re-election bid of Governor Sen Hope Uzodinma come 11/11..
In a keynote address by the state chairman, Conference of Development Centre coordinators and members , High Chief Emeka Matthew Nwaogu expressed that they are proud of His Excellency Sen Hope Uzodinma's experience and panaech for quality projects and impactful human capital development.
In his note of acknowledgement said " our existence won't be complete without mentioning of Mama CODACORD, Hon Chief Mrs Rubby Emele and Special Adviser to the Governor on Developments centres Imo State, Barr CJ Ihemedu , for their quality advice and proper guidance on the various Development Centres".
"We are mobilising and sustaining the shared prosperity Government at the grassroots and rural communities with deep synergy with traditional rulers , president Generals , All progressives Congress stakeholders and sole Administrators. We have never had it so good under a Governor like the governance capacity exhibited by His Excellency the executive Governor of Imo State. His second term bid is our election and it's on this premises , that CODACORD has taken up a Re-election campaign strategy that will witness a seamless victory for our party come November 11 election.
Conclusively, Nwaogu congratulates the awardees , who were painstakingly chosen for honour and urge them to continue their support for All progressives Congress and Sen Hope Uzodinma.

The Member representing Mbaitoli state Constituency, Hon Innocent Ikpemezie who is also one of the awardee , expressed his delight on the conferment of honour , lauds the organisers of the event for the successful conspicuous and colourful event .
He encouraged them to remain resolute in the mission of the re-election of Governor Uzodinma come November 11 ballot. He testified that the resuscitation of Development Centres in Imo State has been impactful to his local Government Area. He eulogized the Development Area Coordinators of Mbaitoli for their wonderful works in driving Development to the doorsteps of their people and doggedness of ensuring peace in their communities.
