Fear and tension grips Ndianiche community in Arondizogu, ideato North, Imo State, on Friday night as unknown Gunmen raze down yet another traditional ruler, His Royal Majesty, Eze Kanu Ekenolu.
The terrorists invaded the palace of the traditional ruler at about 8:50PM on Friday night through the back fence and threw IED explosives into the building and some vehicles parked in the compound, setting it ablaze.
Imoedgenews gathered that properties worth millions of naira was lost in the attack at the palace of the traditional ruler and as at press time, the community is deserted as the members of the community scampered to neighboring communities in fear. It was also gathering that other homes around the traditional rulers palace was also attacked and valuables carted away.
Note that Ndianiche community and many other communities in ideato North has little or no security presence and the invasion of these gunmen is becoming constant.
When contacted , the Police Public Relation Office (PPRO) Henry Okoye confirmed the incident and said the police are already investigating the crime and that the terrorist will soon be brought to book.
