NOVEMBER 11 IMO GUBER ELECTION, UZODINMA UNVEILS BARR. CHINYERE EKOMARU AS RUNNING MATE.
A prominent female lawyer in imo state lady Barr. Chinyere iheoma Nnedinma Ekomaru was on Saturday, August 12th 2023 unveiled by The Governor Of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodinma as a running mate for the incoming November 11 2023 governorship election in imo state.
Barr. Nnedinma Ekomaru is married a Chief Chukwuman Ekomaru, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN. She hails from Umunoha Community in Mbaitolu Local government Area of Imo state and has practiced for over twenty years as a lawyer.
Until now, Mrs. Ekomaru was never a politician.
In his address at the unveiling ceremony, Governor Uzodinma said he is very happy with the choice of Lady Barr. Chinyere iheoma Nnedinma Ekomaru as his running mate, staying that he has no problem or issues with the outgoing Deputy Governor professor Placid Njoku. " He still remain very relevant in our prosperity government. His political carrier is now beginning" Governor Uzodinma disclosed.
He said that the choice of a female running mate is for the general interest of the imo people.
In her own speech, the Imo APC New Running mate to Governor Uzodinma, Lady Barr. Chinyere Ihuoma Ekomaru expressed
satisfaction with her political elevation by the Governor Imo state and clarified that he has been a student of Hopism and assured the governor that she will do all her power to ensure that Governor Hope Uzodinma wins the second tenure and enjoy his second tenure. " You have achieved great feat in your first tenure, you have worked so hard to get imo to where we are now, there will more political heavyweight decamping from opposition parties to APC because of your achievements in the state and you will have no issues in you re election Bid ." She submitted.
