As Honorable Hamilton Chinasa Mobilizes For Governor Uzodinma's Re-election.
Hon. Chief Hamilton Chinasa Opara(JP) has mobilized the people of Mbaitoli to build up existing political structure for APC in the area to ensure victory for His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma in the oncoming Governorship election staled to hold on November 11 this year.
Shortly after the Governor of Imo state attended church service at the Holy spirit Catholic Church Nwaorieubi, all roads leads to the residence of Hon. Hamilton Chinasa Opara as he hosted more than two hundred political heavyweight in Mbaitoli,
while addressing the gathering, said that the first meeting yielded fruits as there were more people that attended to support the movement. He cleared the misconception of some persons on the objectives of the gathering.
He clarified that the meeting is not a political gathering, insisting that everyone has a task to perform to achieve the party objective of returning the God sent governor come November 11 2023 election. He noted that the reason why ward Chairmen of APC Mbaitolu was not present has nothing to do with neglect, rather, he was trying to co opt more men into the scheme of things, especially those that feel dejected, as if the party doesn't recognize them including those who recently joined ,However, he said that in subsequent meetings, all teams will be merged to work as a team.
Moving forward, Hon. Hamilton suggested that they pay a courtesy visit to Lady Chinyere Ekomaru, the deputy governor designate who is a daughter of Mbaitoli, and that subsequent meetings will be moved down to the various communities and wards to preach the gospel of Governor Uzodimma to the grassroots and add to the believers of this project. Describing the qualities of a leader, the Council boss condemned the activities of some respected leaders who go behind to support candidates from other parties, as well as those who instigate party faithful against one another.
This he said has been the disease in the system, the pull him down syndrome has eaten up the system as they see it as their only strategy to grow. He finally encouraged all to show their commitment through hard work, and described those fighting him as enemies of the party and our God-sent Governor.
Responding, one of the strong leader of Amaike ward, the commander of all Muslim faithful in Imo State, *Prince Basheer Uwakwe* appreciated the ingenuity and courage of Hon Hamilton Opara towards the success of this project. Recognizing the presence of some winning agents like Chief Rufus Osueke, he encouraged all to be dedicated to the project that Governor Hope will do more for Mbaitoli when re-elected, with more infrastructural projects and more appointments. *Hon. Ifeanyi Nnataraonye* stated that what he has understood from the SOLAD's address that *Governor Hope Uzodimma* will win the Nov 11 Guber election. On that premise, he advised all other contestants to save their money or better still invest the funds in some capital projects for their people. He stressed that Mbaitoli needs to reciprocate the love the Governor has shown to them . He went further to advise the SOLAD to ignore all the side talks, write-ups, and comments against him, that his works speak for him. On the forthcoming local government elections, Hon. Nnataraonye received resounding support from the house as he proposed a continuation of the transformative projects of Hon Hamilton Chinasa Opara.
The highlight of the event was the reception of the Mbaitoli ACCORD party members represented by their LGA executives and ward chairmen, together with other APGA faithfuls present. It was a moment of joy as the SOLAD, Chief D.M. Agogbuo, Chief Emma Iwuagwu, Lady Ngozi Ukaegbu, some APC LGA excos, and other members shaked hands with them and assured them that they will not be denied any rights as party members and will be carried along.
In the same vein, *Chief Emma Iwuagwu* told the SOLAD not to expect accolades from ndi Mbaitoli, rather more work is expected from him. Describing Mbieri as a football team, he explained that a goal scored by an Mbieri Son is a goal for the team and should be celebrated by all. He called for team spirit to overcome the "PhD" syndrome in Mbieri. In resounding support of the motion raised by *Chief Emma Iwuagwu* , the house reaffirmed their belief and support that *Hon. Hamilton Chinasa Opara* has the capacity to lead Mbaitoli to victory.
The women had their say, as *Lady Ngozi Ukaegbu* took the floor to appreciate the Governor for his gender-inclusive governance, and further promised to visit women at their various autonomous communities to ensure full mobilization of women for our Governor's re-election.
It was a fruitful gathering as *Hon. Emeka Nwadi* summarized the key resolutions and advised all to be ready for full implementation for it is now time for work.
