Led by their esteemed convener, Hon. Ozoemena Emereuwaonu, and Chairman Hon. Raymond Nzeh, alongside Secretary Sir Victor Ekeocha and their woman leader, Mrs Chiaka Chikwe, the group officially declared their unequivocal support and endorsement of the re-election bid of Dist. Sen Hope Uzodimma, the incumbent Governor of Imo State.

Ebere, unable to attend the event in person, was represented by the secretary to the Imo APC Chairman, Mrs. Justina Ogba, who graciously received the award on his behalf. Mrs. Ogba expressed heartfelt gratitude for the honor and seized the opportunity to shower encomium on Governor Uzodimma and the State Party Chairman, who she described as a hardworking and focused leader who brought fresh air into the ruling All Progressives Congress in Imo State.
