On June 23, 2025, the Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, paid a working visit to the Police Training School, Nekede, Owerri, where he addressed 264 recruits drawn from Imo and Abia States.

During his tour of the hostels, classrooms, and kitchen, CP Danjuma expressed satisfaction with the cleanliness and organization of the facilities.
