Imo State is poised for a tourism revolution, thanks to Governor Hope Uzodimma's masterplan. Commissioner for Tourism, Hospitality, and Culture, Barr. Jerry Egemba, has praised the Governor's efforts to boost the state's income through tourism, hospitality, and cultural development.

The Governor has demonstrated exceptional leadership in renovating and upgrading key facilities, including the Concorde Hotel Owerri to a Five-Star Hotel and the Otamiri River to a world-class facility. A comprehensive upgrade of the state's tourism facilities is underway, with renovations expected to meet global standards to attract more tourists.
