*Mbaitoli LG Chairman, Hon. Ifunanya, Announces Burial Date for Late Father, Prof. Valentine Nwanegwo*

The Executive Chairman of
Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Hon. Ifunanya Lactus Nwanegwo, has announced January 4, 2025, as the date for the burial of his late father, Prof. Valentine Nwanegwo .
Prof. Valentine Nwanegwo, a renowned peace advocate, passed away on August 16, 2024. His remains will be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Umuduruegwo, Awo Mbieri, within Mbaitoli LGA, Imo State.
In a heartfelt press statement, Hon. Ifunanya Nwanegwo expressed his deep sorrow and gratitude for the support and solidarity received from friends, leaders, and well-wishers during this difficult time. He described his late father as a man whose greatest priority was service to humanity, leaving a significant void in their lives .
Hon. Ifunanya Nwanegwo, who was inaugurated as the Executive Chairman of Mbaitoli LGA on September 30, 2024, has been commended for his leadership and commitment to the development of Mbaitoli LGA .
The burial ceremony, scheduled to take place on January 4, 2025, is expected to attract dignitaries and well-wishers from across Imo State.
