Justice Served: Businessman Recovers N3m Extorted by Rogue Policemen, Demands Prosecution"_

In a remarkable turn of events, Liberty Kelechi Isaac, a Nigerian businessman based in Ghana, has recovered N3 million extorted from him at gunpoint by rogue policemen in Bayelsa State. However, Isaac is not satisfied with just the refund; he is demanding that the culprits be prosecuted publicly.

Isaac, who was in Nigeria to attend a friend's traditional marriage ceremony, was accosted by the policemen, forced to unlock his phones, and brutalized upon seeing a N10 million bank alert. The officers then forced him to transfer N3 million to them in two tranches.

Determined to seek justice, Isaac petitioned the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, and visited the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 16 Command in Bayelsa State with his lawyer. To his surprise, the AIG released the stolen money to him on bond.

Isaac expressed gratitude to the Police authorities for their swift action but emphasized that the rogue policemen must face the law. "This is armed robbery and kidnapping. The IGP is ready to fish out the corrupt ones among them. I want them prosecuted," he stated.

The recovery of the money has reinforced Isaac's faith in the Nigeria Police, and he encourages fellow Nigerians to speak out against crimes. "Don't take every crime as normal. Report to the police leadership with evidence. I believe the Nigeria Police Force will fish out the bad eggs," he added.

Will Isaac's courage inspire others to demand justice, and will the Police authorities take concrete steps to prosecute the rogue officers? Only time will tell.
