Senator Ayogu Eze the Former lawmaker and ex_senate Committee Chairman on Information and Media, has passed on at the age of 66 .
Senator Ayogu Eze who represented the Enugu North Senatorial District from 2007 to 2015 succumbed to death on the 25th of April being Thursday at an Abuja hospital following a prolonged illness.
Late ex_Senator Ayogu Eze was born on November 23,1958,he dedicated his life to public service, representing the interest of the good people of Enugu North Senatorial District with commitment and pure faithfulness.
During his tenure in the National Assembly ranging eight years Senator Ayogu played a significant role in the legislative process.He outstandingly served as a member of the constitution drafting and amendment committee and contributed to the crucial changes in Nigeria's 1999 constitution.
After his re-election in 2011, he was appointed the chairman of the Senate committee on works.
During his tenure his contributions extended beyond his committee responsibilities. He was also a member in various committees which includes the National planning, Federal Character & Internal-Government affairs, Marine Transport and Police Affairs committee,
