As the election tribunal petition is winding up, the Imo House of Assembly member representing Owerri west Local government Honorable Kanayo Onyemaechi ( Dele Egbe Eji Eje Ogu) has been given victory.
Honorable Dele of APC got his victory at an election tribunal sitting in Nasarawa state at a petition written by his counterpart from PDP and Labour Party respectively.
While speaking to the Press, the lawmaker, Onyemaechi expressed satisfaction on the outcome of the Election Petition court and stated that the court is really the last hope of the common man. He comended the judiciary for upholding justice and however expressed optimism that the court will also uphold justice as the parties already appealed the judgement.
Honorable Onyemaechi appreciated the people of Owerri west for their support and encourage them and APC as a whole to always have absolute trust in judiciary.
Meanwhile, the people of Owerri West has congratulated the lawmaker Onyemaechi on his victory and assured him of their support to his tenure.
