In his bid to bring unity to the party Leadership of APC in Owerri Zone, the state party Chairman, Honorable Macdonald Ebere PhD, has embarked on a purposeful visit to the zone beginning with the home of Imo state deputy Governor, professor Placid Njoku, ikeduru and Mbaitoli.
The essence of the visit is to ensure that the leaders of the party in Mbaitoli and ikeduru are on the same page with every other party organ at all level as they work towards restoring the shared prosperity government of Governor Hope Uzodimma back to government house for another four years of good governance.
The imo state deputy Governor while warmly receiveing the delegation lead by Honorable Macdonald Ebere PhD, commenced the session with attendance taking of the leaders before delving into the reason for the august visit. The Deputy Governor professor Placid Njoku expressed his gratitude for the visit and advocated for the adherence to the imo state charter of equity. He emphasized that supporting the re-election of Governor Uzodimma come November 11 Governorship election would pave a way for Owerri zones' protects in the future political endeavors.
Honorable Macdonald Ebere in his speech, conveyed greetings from the government of Governor Hope Uzodimma and appealed to the ikeduru APC leaders to set aside any internal rancour that could undermine their objective and mission to secure victory for Governor Uzodimma second term bid. Hon. Ebere outlined strategic campaign and outreach method to achieving victory for effective mobilization at the local government level for Governor Uzodimma in the on coming election.
At Mbaitoli the home of the Deputy Governor candidate, lady Chinyere Ekomaru, the delegation was received by party leaders which include Lady Chinyere Ekomaru, Chief Marcon Nlemigbo, former Imo APC State Chairman, and the sole administrator of Mbaitoli, Honorable Chief Hamilton Chinasa Opara JP
Hon. Macdonald Ebere harped on the significant achievements of Governor Hope Uzodimma in the region and urged for a united effort to secure his return to office.
Chief Marcon Nlemigbo reiterated the resolve of Mbaitoli people to work together in this re _election bid for the Governor, siting the rehabilitation of Owerri Orlu road that benefitted the Mbaitoli people greatly as one major developmental contribution to the zone.
Honorable Chief Chinasa Opara JP called for peace and unity among the party faithfuls maintaining that victory would be achieved through a united front.
